Dear WIT Community,
What a year! We watched as the world finally took notice of what so many of us already knew: interpersonal and sexual violence are epidemics, and Survivors should be believed.
What we are witnessing is a significant step on the path to real, meaningful change.
Together, we in the WIT community can continue to work towards that change - and ensure that it includes everyone: women of color, immigrant women, trans women, non-binary and gender non-conforming people, queer women, and women with disabilities.
Our New Year's resolution is to continue to be a safe space for Survivors, to lead the push to end interpersonal and gender-based violence, and to advocate for our right to be safe everywhere: in our workplaces, in our relationships, in our communities, and in our homes.
We have an exciting year ahead of us. I hope you join us for it.
