Here are some of the ways that your gift makes an impact:

$35 supports transportation assistance for WIT clients and provides access to WIT’s domestic violence services.

$50 supports training for a volunteer counselor to staff our LifeLine and provide counseling for callers experiencing domestic violence or substance abuse.

$75 purchases toys and supplies for children in Play Care, a safe space for clients to leave their children while they attend counseling or peer support groups at WIT.

$150 sponsors a WAVE Empowerment Self-Defense class for 15 students, where they can learn emotional and physical self-defense.

$250 supports a Survivor’s individual counseling sessions with a WIT counselor to begin moving forward in their life.

$500 supports LifeLine Skill Development workshops for WIT clients. They can learn and gain skills to use moving forward – financial empowerment and management, family law, healthy relationships, and self-care, among others.

Giving Together

WIT donors have contributed through workplace giving drives, house parties, and giving circles. Contact donate@helpwomen.org for ideas and suggestions about how you and your friends can give to WIT together for an even bigger impact.

What WIT does really well: accommodating, empowerment counseling based on supporting someone in finding their voice.
