When Cartier announced the ambassadors for its June 2008 Love Charity Event celebration, hip hop artist Eve was on the list. Also launched by the famous jeweler was the accompanying Love Charity Bracelet, which was customized by Eve.

Upon hearing that she had been chosen as a Cartier Ambassador, the Philadelphia native did what any sensible girl would do… she called her mom. As an Ambassador for the Love Charity Event, Eve was able to choose her charity of choice, as recipient of Cartier’s charitable gift of $75,000 in addition to a percentage of sales for Eve’s bracelet. The beneficiary was none other than Women In Transition, recommended by Mom. And we have Mom, who still lives in Philadelphia, to thank for that. Thanks, Mom, and thank you, Eve, for including us in this day of honor for you and all women in transition.
